(Patria) - The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, received the Ambassador of Ireland to Bosnia and Herzegovina, based in Ljubljana, Adrian Farrell, for a visit today.
Komšić thanked the Government and citizens of Ireland for their strong support of Bosnia and Herzegovina's European path.
It was stated that the principled fulfillment of all 14 key reforms from the European Commission's 2019 opinion represents the only way to open accession negotiations for Bosnia and Herzegovina to the European Union.
The importance of respecting human rights and the rule of law as the fundamental values upon which the European Union and its member states are based was particularly emphasized.
The interlocutors agreed that the relations between the two countries are extremely friendly, and that the small, but excellently integrated and organized Bosnian and Herzegovinian diaspora in Ireland, represents an excellent basis for building even better and stronger bilateral relations.
