Komšić received Secretary General of the Muslim World League Mohammed Abdul Al-Issa

(Patria) - Chairman of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić received the Secretary General of the Muslim World League (Rabita) Mohammed Abdul Karim Al-Issa.

Chairman Komšić, on behalf of the BiH Presidency and personally, expressed his welcome to the Secretary General of the Muslim World League, and expressed his conviction that today's visit will contribute to strengthening relations and cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Muslim World League.

He thanked Secretary General Al-Issa for choosing Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina to host the International Conference "Members of Parliaments and Religious Leaders for Peace and Coexistence", organized by the Muslim World League.

The Chairman of the BiH Presidency emphasized the importance of the mission and activities carried out by the Muslim World League in promoting peace, solidarity, coexistence, and civilizational values at a global level.

Secretary General Al-Issa conveyed his satisfaction with the visit and participation in the International Conference "Members of Parliaments and Religious Leaders for Peace and Coexistence", and expressed his hope that it will grow into a traditional Sarajevo forum for the meeting of civilizations, with the aim of promoting tolerance and coexistence. He expressed gratitude for the words of support and emphasized the importance of the positive experiences he is taking from Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the mission of promoting peace, coexistence, and a prosperous future, which can be applied worldwide.

On behalf of the members of the BiH Presidency Denis Bećirović and Željka Cvijanović, the meeting was attended by Head of Cabinet Alija Kožljak and advisor Marko Milisav.
