Komšić received the letter of credence of the new Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to BiH

(Patria) - Chairman of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić received the letter of credence of the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Bosnia and Herzegovina Anas Abdulrahman O. Al Wasedy.

Chairman of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić welcomed Ambassador Al Wasedy and expressed his belief that Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will continue to develop friendly relations, as well as successful bilateral and multilateral cooperation. He expressed gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its continuous assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina when it was most needed, as well as for supporting development projects through the
Saudi Development Fund.

It was assessed that economic relations have real potential for development, especially in the areas of investment, trade, tourism, and education, with the observation that direct foreign investments are of exceptional importance for the economic growth and overall development of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The interlocutors expressed mutual interest in concluding bilateral agreements in order to create a more favorable legal framework for the continuation of constructive dialogue and the improvement of overall relations.

At the end of the ceremony, the Chairman of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić wished a successful diplomatic mission to the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Bosnia and Herzegovina Anas Abdulrahman O. Al Wasedy.
