Komšić calls on all candidates for the BiH Presidency to offer a vision of BiH's progress in the next 10 years

(Patria) - Candidate for the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić today called on all candidates for this position to offer their vision of Bosnia and Herzegovina's progress in the next ten years. He stated that this campaign will be a battle of ideas, not of personalities, parties or peoples, the Democratic Front announced today. 

- Whoever tries to present their defeat as the defeat of the people they come from is gravely mistaken if they think their lies will pass. Do not think we will allow pre-election rhetoric to turn into an open war against fundamental civic values - Komšić said.

He said that "our idea of freedom is stronger than all those who want to destroy the homeland."

- That is why we stand ready to fight against them. Bosnians and Herzegovinians, close ranks, a long, non-violent and difficult struggle for freedom lies ahead of us. But even such - long and difficult - is better than a bloody one - and we must preserve peace. That is the responsibility of our generation for those yet to come - Komšić concludes.
