Komšić calls for unity among politicians: We see what the enemy does from the example of Montenegro

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The latest political developments in Montenegro, accompanied by post-election violence against national minorities by the Montenegrin anti-NATO opposition, are a serious warning to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens, the DF announced.

"Political structures that are today trying to remove Montenegro from its Euro-Atlantic path (destroy the EU path and annul NATO membership) are supported by the same pro-Russian center, which just a few months ago brutally attacked the legality of the Central Election Commission of BiH, which was freed with extreme effort from the complete control of SNSD and HDZ.

Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina know well which political options based in Sarajevo, by calling for street riots and chaos, directly assisted pro-Russian exponents in BiH, SNSD and HDZ in their attacks on state institutions. These attacks were repelled, but only temporarily, as they will continue through attempts to discredit and delegitimize state institutions," the DF states.

Bearing in mind the aforementioned processes, which have both domestic and regional character, the Democratic Front once again calls on all political options for whom the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina comes first, to set aside ideological and political differences when it comes to continuous attacks on state institutions, because these institutions are not anyone's party or private property, but the property of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"We must not allow open enemies of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina to gain more space in their destructive actions due to political animosities. The fragmentation of political options that advocate for the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina into countless camps opens up maneuver space for the enemy of the state, as the example of Montenegro unfortunately testifies to," the DF concludes.
