Komšić reveals: At the negotiations, they wanted to immediately agree on who would take over the OSA and SIPA

During his appearance on last night's CD show on FACE TV, President of the Democratic Front Željko Komšić, as always, spoke openly about the numerous problems he faces during the negotiations on forming the government, and about how his thoughts and views differ from the opinions of other party leaders, reports the Patria news agency.

Among other things, Komšić revealed that the leaders of HDZBiH, SDA, and the Alliance for Changes of the RS intended to immediately divide the police and security state agencies and directorates among themselves during the negotiations.

- I will not participate in such things. The other day, during the negotiations, I had the opportunity to hear, as they say, let's now look at the agencies and directorates.

I said, stop! Do you want to agree on how to break the law? Of course, everyone stopped, because it sounded like a threat to them, in the sense that this one will 'leak' it somewhere to the public. How to divide agencies and directorates? That does not belong to political parties as you think, one for me, one for you. 

Do you know how many directors of agencies we have whose terms have expired, and no competitions have been announced. In the name of what? In the name of some national interest. It cannot work that way. If you do not put a stop to it, whether you have the power to stop it or not, you are obliged to do so, said Komšić.

When asked what is contentious at the state level, he replied:  

- A few chairs are contentious, more..... At those negotiations, when you line up everything everyone has put forward, and if we said, here I'm exaggerating, let's establish two or three new ministries to satisfy all this, even after that, more demands would appear.

When it comes to OSA and SIPA, i.e., whether he and DF are interested in these two agencies, Komšić said the following:

- I am only interested in OSA and SIPA doing their job. I respect the structure of this country, I respect national rotations so that it is not only for one people, but I am only interested in them working.  

To the question 'Do you have a person for those positions?', Komšić said:  

- Do you know how many good police officers I know, but it means nothing to them. Those people from those structures who are members of DF have disqualified themselves. Zlatko Miletić is not a party member, and if he applies for the competition, in my opinion, he could be the director.
