Komšić responded to Željka Cvijanović: We didn't say arrest, the BiH Court did, as the competent institution

(Patria) - A meeting between EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas and members of the BiH Presidency was held in Sarajevo today.

The participants of the meeting addressed the media after its conclusion.

Chairwoman of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović said that this was an opportunity for the guest to see how differently they think.

She reiterated that she does not agree with the presence of High Representative Christian Schmidt, stating that he "changed the criminal law and then imposed that it be respected".

- The fabricated Bonn powers have persistently led this country from one wrong station to another. I pointed out that domestic institutions should make internal agreements.

I do not agree that some unelected foreigner can change laws, which is why these problems with the judiciary exist now, because the unelected foreigner Schmidt made amendments to the Criminal Code - says Cvijanović.

She stated that the movement towards the European Union can only be the product of domestic work.

- No one should warn us, Republika Srpska does not threaten the territorial integrity of BiH. The institutions of Republika Srpska do not undermine the constitutional order.

Here we only hear arrest, sanction, remove from power. If that is the path to the EU, feel free to find that capacity wherever you can.

We have a different view that is propagated in the Federation of BiH. Therefore, the institutions in Republika Srpska are not doing anything that undermines the constitutional order - Cvijanović asserted.

She added that the EU should be a bridge for building internal bridges.

Then, member of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić addressed the media, thanking Kaja Kallas for the positions she presented during the meeting.

- I don't have the desire to warm up the atmosphere, or rather, to extinguish the fire with gasoline, but I have the need to respond to what Cvijanović said.

So, it wasn't your colleagues, Ms. Cvijanović, who said arrest, arrest was said by the BiH Court, as the competent institution for that. Do not expect us to degrade the Court's decisions - they are being implemented - Komšić said.

He wished the guest and members of her delegation a pleasant stay in Sarajevo.

After Komšić, member of the BiH Presidency Denis Bećirović also addressed the media, welcoming the guest to "unsubmissive BiH".

- I believe that together we can preserve the state, the constitutional order, and peace in BiH. There is a tragic illusion in the Republika Srpska entity that a peaceful breakup of BiH is possible, which could lead to catastrophe.

The international community, the EU, the legitimate High Representative, EUFOR, and NATO - all should do their jobs. In the end, there are state institutions of BiH that should do their jobs.

Unfortunately, we are dealing with Dodik and a group of outlaws who do not respect Dayton, the Constitution, laws, the UN, the positions of the EU, the OSCE.

They do not respect the decisions of the BiH Constitutional Court, the positions of Germany, the USA, Italy, France, Spain, so is it possible that they are all wrong and only they are right - Bećirović asked.

He points out that this is an attempt by Republika Srpska to destroy the sovereignty of BiH.

- How did Spain stop the separatists? Those who attacked the constitutional order had to bear sanctions. It is similar with BiH.

The leader of Republika Srpska says that Vladimir Putin is the greatest humanitarian in the world. Imagine what we are dealing with.

Our priority is the protection of the constitutional order of BiH, and let no one try to convince us that there is any other at this moment - Bećirović stated.
