Komšić: I expected official Belgrade to act more wisely regarding the Srebrenica Resolution

(Patria) - BiH Presidency member Željko Komšić stated today in Sarajevo that if he were in the place of decision-makers in Serbia, he would be a co-sponsor of the Srebrenica Resolution.

Komšić points out that he would act that way because the Resolution is not directed against any nation or state, and does not speak of any collective guilt.

He stated that the Resolution speaks of what unfortunately happened in 1995 and the need to preserve the memory of those moments and especially the victims.

- Regarding the policy of official Belgrade concerning the Srebrenica Resolution, I expected them to act more wisely.

Unfortunately, a lack of wisdom and a desire to misuse the situation have prevailed once again - Komšić concluded.
