Komšić on the death of the Emir of Kuwait: BiH has lost a significant friend

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - BiH Presidency member Željko Komšić sent a telegram of condolences on the occasion of the death of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah. 

"I received the news of the death of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, with sadness. I sincerely sympathize with the people of Kuwait and the royal family. Sheikh al-Jaber al-Sabah will be remembered as a peacemaker who advocated for friendly relations and cooperation among the countries of the region for the general good.

We will also remember him as a leader who provided support to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and with his death, we have lost a significant friend," said Komšić. 

The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Šefik Džaferović, sent a telegram of condolences on the occasion of the death of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, in which he expressed sincere condolences to the Kuwaiti people and the royal family in these difficult moments.

"Sheikh al-Jaber al-Sabah was a great friend of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and his passing represents a loss for our country. During his life, he left an indelible mark, making a huge contribution to the building of stability and development of Kuwait, as well as the entire region, and I am sure that his deeds will be remembered and appreciated by future generations," the telegram states.
