Komšić on the 'Greens' Resolution: An encouraging message ahead of the continued fight for equal rights of all citizens

(Patria) - The European Greens adopted a Resolution at the 34th session of the party's Council, which, among other things, mentions Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As stated in the Resolution, the European Union strongly opposes any change of borders and supports the further building of our country.

- The EU strongly opposes any changes to borders, especially on the basis of ethnic divisions. We strongly advocate for the continuation of the Belgrade-Priština dialogue and the implementation of mutually agreed steps. The EU stands behind the Dayton Agreement and will fully support the further building of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a multi-ethnic, multi-religious and civic state, it is stated.

Furthermore, the Greens party says it is necessary to appeal to all political actors in BiH, with the aim of contributing to respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of BiH.

Željko Komšić, Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, welcomed the Resolution adopted by the European Greens at the 34th session of the party's Council and the support for building Bosnia and Herzegovina as a civic and multi-ethnic state.

"This is an encouraging message ahead of the continued fight for equal rights of all citizens of our homeland," Komšić said.
