Komšić on Konaković's statement: It's a sick lie that I asked Rutte not to open negotiations with BiH!

(Patria) - The President of the People and Justice party, Elmedin Konaković, stated at a party forum in
Novi Grad that NiP, in the past six years, while holding power at the local and state levels, has shown that it is possible to significantly improve the lives of citizens.

In his address, he also mentioned Željko Komšić, the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, and stated that he had checked and received confirmation from multiple sources that Željko Komšić, at a meeting with Dutch Prime Minister Rutte in the Presidency of BiH, had asked the EU not to open negotiations with BiH.

"This is the difference between us and them; imagine a leader who says don't open negotiations with us," said Konaković, adding that both SDA and DF would certainly be ready for various concessions and political bargaining to secure benefits for themselves or to ensure that cadres of these parties who are currently in custody are released.

Komšić himself reacted to this statement, which sounds more like an alibi for the government.

"It's a lie, and it seems to be the only tool he has left. However, there are too many witnesses from that meeting for such a transparent lie. But it's a childish lie, or even worse, a sick lie!", Komšić said briefly.
