(Patria) - The news that the Democratic Front will support the Troika candidate (NiP, SDP, NS) for Mayor of Ilidža in this year's local elections has been denied by the president of this party, Željko Komšić.
"There is no decision by any body of the DF to support any candidate in the upcoming local elections, and therefore there is no decision to support the Mayor of Ilidža, Muzur! No one is authorized to give support to Muzur on behalf of the DF," said Komšić.
We remind you that the current Mayor of Ilidža, Nermin Muzur (NiP), announced that the president of the municipal organization of the DF, Nijaz Suljić, gave support to the joint candidate at today's meeting.
Incidentally, it is very likely that Muzur will again be the candidate for mayor. In the last local elections, he received the trust of 18,000 or 63.60 percent of the 28,850 citizens who voted. The runner-up was the SDA candidate Fikret Prevljak with 8,394 votes.
