Komšić at the Copenhagen Summit: European Solidarity Key to Peace and Stability

(Patria) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić is participating in the Summit of the European Political Community, hosted by the Kingdom of Denmark. The summit of heads of state and government of European countries is being held in Copenhagen with a focus on how to strengthen Ukraine, the general security situation in Europe, and how to make Europe stronger and safer in the geopolitical situation we face.

Chairman Komšić emphasises the importance of a unified European response to security challenges, including strong support for Ukraine in its fight for freedom and territorial integrity. He also stresses that European solidarity and the further rapprochement of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the European Union are key factors in preserving peace, stability and shared European values.

At the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron and Council President Giorgia Meloni, Chairman Komšić will attend a meeting where the European Coalition against Drugs will be launched and a joint declaration of the participants of the European Political Community (EPC) will be adopted, which Bosnia and Herzegovina will also join.
