Komšić: Miletić is a patriot and I trust him immensely

The president of the Democratic Front, Željko Komšić, told reporters after the session of the Main Board of this party held today in Sarajevo that he is satisfied that Zlatko Miletić was elected as the new Secretary General, reports a reporter from the Patria News Agency.

- People like Miletić showed their patriotism during the war, and perhaps it is my weakness that I want such people by my side. They are important to me because they proved themselves during that period, I like to have them around me, and I trust them immensely, Komšić emphasized.  

Furthermore, he said that in its three years of existence and work, the DF has gone through all phases of political life in BiH.

- We will shift the focus of our work to local committees because it is very important for us that party members are in daily contact with people from the field, with citizens, Komšić said.  

Zlatko Miletić has many years of police experience. He was the director of the Federal Police Administration, the secretary of the Anti-Terrorist Team operating under the Council of Ministers of BiH, and the executive director of the Association of Police Chiefs of Southeast Europe – SEPCA.  

He was appointed to the position of Secretary General of the DF after Sifet Podžić resigned.
