Komšić, Izetbegović and Reis Kavazović visited Kovači cemetery

On the occasion of March 1st, BiH Independence Day, members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić and Bakir Izetbegović laid flowers and recited Fatiha at the Šehidsko cemetery Kovači in Sarajevo. The ceremony at Kovači was also attended by the reisu-l-ulema of the Islamic Community in BiH Husein ef. Kavazović, and the mufti of Sarajevo Husein ef. Smajić, reports the reporter of the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

Previously, Izetbegović and Komšić laid wreaths at the Eternal Flame in the center of Sarajevo, thereby confirming the continuity of the struggle and preservation of BiH's independence and integrity. 22 years ago, BiH citizens, in a referendum on independence, decided by an absolute majority to restore the international legal status of BiH as a separate and independent state.
