Komšić: Izetbegović will give Čović the second electoral unit and thus complete the third entity

Demokratska fronta President Željko Komšić was a guest in tonight's edition of the show Pressing hosted by editor and host Amir Zukić on N1, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Komšić congratulated all citizens of BiH on Statehood Day at the very beginning and said that he would leave behind a child for whom he wishes to live in this country and not flee from here.

When asked where BiH is today, whether it is still a country of Bosniaks, Serbs, and Croats, Komšić said that the war had taken its toll, as had the post-war period,

- The war without winners, which left much injustice behind, dead, disabled, wounded souls and minds, has taken its toll. Historically, if one can be objective, it seems that BiH is further and further away from ZAVNOBiH. That was not communism, but anti-fascism. Not only partisans participated, but also people who had nothing to do with communism.

Komšić said that ZAVNOBiH saw BiH as the country of all of us, as it can only be.

- Unlike that idea, Serbs, Croats, Bosniaks, and all others are equal throughout the territory of BiH. Today, that element of equality is missing in this territory. BiH still is and will be, it will survive all this, a country of Bosniaks, Croats, Serbs, and all others. The problem is equality on every inch of this land - Komšić stated categorically.

Who are the real and who are the fake anti-fascists?

- An anti-fascist is a person who fights against any kind of injustice. Respect for a person, the right to be who they are, special as everyone else. Anti-fascism as a movement arose by opposing the opposite philosophy that there are superior and inferior peoples and individuals. It is an idea that says that all people are the same and have the same rights. Fascists want to separate people, groups of people by drawing maps, constantly insisting on greater rights for their ethnic or religious group.

Is BiH in danger of having maps redrawn as before 20 years ago?

- Cartographers are peeking out from the corners, waiting for media and intellectual preparation to say: "That's it, that's the only possible BiH", no matter what cellophane it is wrapped in. They want to redraw borders in this country again, and the borders are the war aims until 1995.

The guest of Pressing said that the coordination mechanism is a form of media and political preparation so that, in this case, cantons as ethnically defined entities become partners to the state level in foreign policy, which is an exclusive state competence.

- After that comes the second phase, which we will see very soon, it is the election law that seeks to establish new electoral units not within the territory of BiH, but only in the Federation of BiH to divide it into two electoral units. What Tuđman and Boban failed to achieve is now being sought through electoral units. Once you have framed that, you have the third entity. There will be no need to amend the Constitution - said Komšić.

To the host's remark that HDZ does not deny BiH, but says it is their homeland, Komšić said that "they want to complete 'their own' and divide what is left in the FBiH. There are several practical problems with that."

When asked if the new coalition partners SDA and SBB would agree to that, Komšić was clear.

- In the last conversation with Izetbegović, I told him that he is responsible for the crisis that occurred. Everyone respects the election results of HDZ, but what Bakir is doing leads nowhere. Izetbegović fulfills everything Dragan Čović asks for. When he gave resources, now comes the coordination mechanism, and then a special electoral unit. One will be for Bosniaks, and the other for Croats in the FBiH. Nothing changes in RS - said Komšić, stating that all this is pushing the FBiH towards ruin.

He also recounted how Bakir Izetbegović offered him a public enterprise.

- I quote Izetbegović: "Take Telecom". I asked him what he meant, and he replied: "Let it belong to you". I told him that we didn't understand each other and that we should bring in someone who knows how to do something with Telecom, who will be able to answer questions, who will bring profit - said Komšić.

The DF president stated that he told Čović that he respects the people who voted for HDZ and that he can cooperate with anyone, but that the third entity will never be achieved.

- As much as all of us from Sarajevo see the cause of instability in Čović and Dodik, it must be admitted that disunity in the capital of BiH is the cause of instability - says Komšić.

Regarding Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić, Komšić said that he cannot forget his statement "one hundred for one", alluding to Vučić's statement that for every murdered Serb, 100 Muslims would be killed.
