Komšić: I had only one condition for DF to remain in government, Izetbegović knows what it is

Since I do not make a practice of denying anything the media publishes regarding any of my activities, for the simple reason that I would spend most of my days denying false news and information and because I believe lies should not be engaged with, on this occasion I am forced to make an exception and react to the news published in some media, states the announcement by DF President Željko Komšić, as reported by the Patria news agency.

- Željko Komšić never offered, either directly to Izetbegović or through intermediaries, in this case Jerlagić, the return of DF to power at the level of the Federation of BiH.

To tell the truth, some people from the SDA did ask me for that, but they always received the same negative answer.
I do not know what Izetbegović and Jerlagić discussed yesterday, and the only truth is that Jerlagić called me before that meeting, at the urging of some people from the SDA as far as I could conclude, as I also know what I told him - DF will not return to that government, DF has nothing against the SDA-SBB coalition, and also that, if the talks between SDA and SBB fail, they can always count on the support of a so-called "minority government" in which, as far as we are concerned, A-SDA and S BiH or anyone else can participate, but without DF.

The reason for such a stance is known to Izetbegović, and I believe also to those who planted that information, and it lies in the fact that DF has never and will never abuse its political position for any kind of obstruction.

Also, Izetbegović knows, because I personally told him before he opened talks with Radončić, that if he is already seeking continued cooperation with DF, then DF has only one "condition" - that the SDA in the Council of Ministers votes against Čović's coordination mechanism, which equates the cantons not only with the entities but also with the state of BiH.

As he also knows, because I told him that too, that he has already given Čović all the economic-material potentials and resources of the former so-called Herzeg-Bosnia and that now political demands follow for the institutional rounding off of that territory, through the coordination mechanism and amendments to the BiH Election Law.

I must also mention the fact that some journalists, during yesterday, contacted some DF officials seeking confirmation of this information and that it was denied to them, but that, for reasons known only to them, was never published.

With as many years as I have, it is completely clear to me that people lie, but why they lie unnecessarily is not clear to me!, states Komšić's announcement.
