Komšić and Lagumdžija to the BiH Parliament, Sarajlić the weakest link

The candidate lists of political parties are in the final stages of preparation, and some have already announced their final results. As confirmed for the Patria News Agency, the Democratic Front has also prepared lists that the DF Presidency should confirm on Friday or Saturday. What is certain is that Željko Komšić will be the holder of the list for the BiH Parliament in Electoral Unit 3.

- So, we have everything ready. It is still unknown who will be the candidate for the Presidency member – Damir Bećirović, member of the DF Presidency, told NAP.

Judging by the names of the candidates who will be the holders of the lists in Electoral Unit 3, it seems that a big battle will ensue, and comparing with the previous 2010 Elections, SDA has by far the weakest candidate in this unit – Asim Sarajlić.

Namely, SDP has nominated Zlatko Lagumdžija as the holder of the list for Electoral Unit 3 Sarajevo for the BiH Parliament, who won 28,451 votes in the last elections. In 2010, Sarajlić was defeated by Ismet Dervo, the holder of the Alliance for a Better Future list, who had 11,667 votes, and Sarajlić had 11,453 votes.

Given that only four candidates go from this unit, it is very possible, judging by previous results, that Sarajlić will not enter Parliament at all.

For example, Beriz Belkić, an MP of SBiH in the House of Representatives of the BiH PS, won 12,844 votes, which is 1,391 more votes than Sarajlić.
