Komšić and Bećirović met with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal

(Patria) - Following the official ceremony on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day, at which the BiH Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić also addressed the attendees, a meeting was held with numerous Ukrainian officials.

After yesterday's meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who thanked Komšić and Denis Bećirović for their visit and support, today they held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.

Due to this visit and support for Ukraine in its defense against the Russian aggressor, Komšić and Bećirović came under fire from the Russian Embassy in BiH, as well as from the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.

Dodik accused them of being on a 'private visit' to Ukraine and that the visit was not coordinated by the BiH Presidency.
