Komšić and Bećirović meet with OSCE Secretary General: Stabilisation of political and security situation is in the interest of all citizens

(Patria) - Members of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić and Denis Bećirović met with the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Feridun H. Sinirlioğlu.

Members of the BiH Presidency Komšić and Bećirović welcomed OSCE Secretary General Sinirlioğlu, emphasising that his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina coincides with the delicate situation the country is in.

The meeting discussed the current political and security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the aim of its stabilisation in the interest of the country and all its peoples and citizens, as well as the role of the OSCE in this.

Members of the BiH Presidency stressed that the attack on the constitutional order of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina by the leadership of the BiH entity RS is still ongoing.

OSCE Secretary General Sinirlioğlu expressed concern over the crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina, emphasising that the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina, peace and stability must be preserved. He stated that the OSCE is ready to provide any kind of assistance in overcoming the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Members of the BiH Presidency thanked the OSCE and the mission of this organisation in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the assistance they have provided and continue to provide through the implementation of numerous projects in various fields.

They said that Bosnia and Herzegovina advocates for the adoption of the OSCE budget, so that this international organisation can function smoothly.
