Komšić and Bećirović Congratulate Hanukkah: The Jewish Community is a Faithful Partner of All of Us in Bosnia and Herzegovina

(Patria) - The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah to the President of the Jewish Community in BiH, Jakob Finci, and all Jews in BiH.
 
“To you and all members of the Jewish Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, I joyfully congratulate the Festival of Lights, Hanukkah. I sincerely wish that these holiday days bring an abundance of peace, mutual respect, and happiness.
 
The Jewish Community is a faithful partner of all of us in Bosnia and Herzegovina in striving for the achievement of equality and equal rights for all citizens.  
 
May this holiday also be an additional inspiration for us to face challenges together and resolutely, sending a message of unity, respect, and justice.

Also, the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, congratulated the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah.

“On the occasion of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah, I extend heartfelt congratulations to you and all members of the Jewish Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I wish that this holiday also strengthens the sense of togetherness among citizens and peoples in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has cherished multi-ethnicity for centuries.

Members of the Jewish Community are an inseparable part of the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and we all have an obligation to nurture the tradition of multi-ethnic harmony in our country in the coming period as well.
