Komšić congratulates Army of BiH Day: There is no doubt about the readiness to fight for BiH as we did in 1992.

(Patria) - The Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina as the only legal and legitimate military and police formations that defended the independence, territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina are most responsible for the survival of our state, said member of the Presidency of BiH Željko Komšić on the occasion of April 15, Army of RBiH Day. Komšić is the recipient of the highest wartime recognition "Golden Lily".

"Although it was faced with a double aggressor on the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, although it was also faced with betrayal from the so-called autonomy, although it was faced with an arms embargo, the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina found the strength to defend the most vital parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina and to wage a war of liberation, as a result of which the enemy was forced to sign peace conditions that confirm what they intended to erase, conditions that confirm the internationally recognized borders of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

With the peace agreement, the aggressor committed not to undertake any actions to violate the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Today, almost thirty years after the end of the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina, we are obliged to monitor what of the signed in this regard is being respected, just as, considering the experience and everything that is happening in the region and the world, we are obliged not to believe that the attempts to destroy Bosnia and Herzegovina are over.

On the contrary, everything indicates the need for increased caution, because only carelessness and naivety can lead us into a situation where Bosnia and Herzegovina as a state would once again be called into question.

I have no doubt about the love for the homeland and the readiness to fight for it by all means, just as I had no doubt in 1992 when we, almost unarmed, faced a much more heavily armed enemy.
