
(Patria) - At the 35th session of the House of Representatives Committee on Transport and Communications, the Report on the Work of the Council of Ministers of BiH for 2024 was not supported. The report was considered for the purpose of submitting an opinion to the House of Representatives on activities within the scope of the Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH.
The Committee adopted:
• Information on the held thematic session of the Committee: "The Situation in the Power Sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina", prepared by the Office of the Committee Secretary;
• Report on the Work of the House of Representatives Committee on Transport and Communications in 2025;
• Indicative Work Plan of the House of Representatives Committee on Transport and Communications for 2026.
The Committee took note of:
• Letter from the acting General Director of BHRT regarding the current situation at BHRT;
• Information from the Communications Regulatory Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the submission of the Draft Decision on the amount of the RTV fee to the parliamentary procedure;
• Response of the Collegium of the Secretariat of the PSBiH to the conclusion from the 33rd session of the House of Representatives Committee on Transport and Communications.
A Letter from the Agency for the Provision of Air Navigation Services of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BHANSA) was also acknowledged, and a hearing of the BHANSA management was announced for the first, or at the latest, the second week of February of the current year.
An invitation for a hearing, as stated, will also be sent to the Chairperson of the BHANSA Council.
A Notification from the Committee on Determining Conflict of Interest in Institutions at the Level of Bosnia and Herzegovina, number 01/5-50-17-1497-2/25 dated 19.12.2025, was acknowledged, and it was concluded that a detailed explanation should be requested from the Committee on Determining Conflict of Interest in Institutions at the BiH Level.
The Committee also took note of the Initiative to amend the Law on the Fundamentals of Road Traffic Safety in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and decided to forward it to the Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH.
