Election and Appointment Committee has not started, the troika and HDZ lack a quorum for work and decision-making

(Patria) - Today's sessions of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, by all accounts, will not bring a final resolution nor the appointment of a judge of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The session is attended by 92 deputies, and from NIP, Amel Mekić is absent, having justified his absence.

Although the Chair of the House, Mirjana Marinković Lepić, called on the members of the Election and Appointment Committee to hold a session, it has not started because the parties of the troika and HDZ BiH lack a quorum, Istraga reported on Twitter.

Members from DF, SDA, SBiH, and NES did not attend the session. Given that two members of the committee from HDZ BiH are missing, there is no quorum for work and decision-making, as out of 11 members, only five are present.

According to the Rules of Procedure, the Committee should decide on the election of new members of the same Committee. It is planned that two members from opposition parties be replaced by members from the ruling coalition and parties supporting the coalition.

If the composition is changed, the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina must vote again. At this moment, everything is still uncertain.

Incidentally, the SDP BiH yesterday scheduled a session of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but it was not held because there was no quorum. At that session, they were supposed to make a decision on how to vote regarding the election of a judge of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
