BIHAĆ, (Patria) - European Union Commissioner for Home Affairs Ylva Johansson will pay a two-day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina on 18 and 19 February 2021.
Commissioner Johansson will begin her visit in Bihać, where she will meet with the Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Selmo Cikotić, the Prime Minister of Una-Sana Canton Mustafa Ružnić, the Mayor of Bihać Šuhret Fazlić, and the Police Commissioner of Una-Sana Canton Mujo Koričić, after which she will visit the temporary reception centre Lipa together with representatives of BiH institutions, IOM and other UN agencies and partners.
On the second day of the visit, the Commissioner will hold meetings in Sarajevo with members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and his deputies, and heads of state agencies responsible for migration management, the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Service for Foreigners' Affairs.
A joint press conference will be held on Friday with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija, Minister of Security Selmo Cikotić and Commissioner Johansson.
