Who received the highest salary of 24,000 KM in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina?

The highest monthly net salary paid in 2014 in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 23,909 KM, according to data from the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FPU), which was provided to the business portal eKapija.ba by the FPU Public Relations Office, reports the Patria news agency.

According to the records held by the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the highest gross salary in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in one month in 2014 amounted to 34,652 KM.

On the highest gross salary, contributions for pension and disability insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance paid by the employee amounted to 10,742.17 KM.

Income tax at a rate of 10 percent was paid on the net salary, and the amount paid depends on the application of income tax reliefs used by the employee.

The highest salary was paid in the banking sector.

According to the official records of the Tax Administration of the FBiH, the highest net salaries in 2014 were paid in the banking sector at 23,909 KM, the industrial sector at 18,974 KM, the IT-technical sector at 18,342 KM, insurance companies at 17,550 KM, and pharmaceutical activities at 19,770 KM.
