Roads wet, snow in higher elevations, wind gusts in Herzegovina

(Patria) - In most of our country, the roads are wet, and traffic conditions are generally good, with occasional precipitation and strong wind gusts. In higher elevations, there is light to heavy snow, and on some sections, there is up to 2 cm of snow on the road (Rostovo, Livno, wider Sarajevo area). Landslides have been recorded on the following sections: Šićki Brod-Srebrenik, Banovići-Živinice, and some sections around Komar, Bugojno, and Koprivnica. Crews are on site and are cleaning and spreading salt, especially in the Sarajevo, Livno, and Makljen areas.

On most roads in Herzegovina, the roads are wet in places, with strong winds and temperatures higher than in the rest of the country.

Due to a major landslide, the Jablanica–Blidinje main road section is closed to traffic.

On the Dobro Polje–Miljevina main road, in the Sijeračke stijene area, traffic is periodically halted for up to 45 minutes daily from 08:00 to 17:00 due to landslide repairs.

Works are underway on the main roads: Semizovac-Olovo, Zavidovići-Vozuća (in Krivaja), Jajce-Crna Rijeka, Bileća-Trebinje (at Žudojevići), Gacko-Foča (in Sastavci), as well as at the entrance to Neum.

At border crossings, waiting times for passenger vehicles do not exceed 30 minutes.

Due to the registration of passengers under the new EU entry/exit system (EES, Entry/Exit System), longer waiting times at border crossings are possible.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Freight vehicles over 5 tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Freight vehicles can use the Šepak border crossing from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 22:00 to 06:00 (on weekends, they can cross between 22:00 and 06:00).
