How much did the leading oil companies in BiH earn?

(Patria) - The largest oil companies in BiH earned tens of millions of marks last year, with "Hodlina", "Nešković", and "Hifa Petrol" among the most profitable, writes Capital.

The most profitable oil company last year was "Holdina", owned by Croatia's INA.

"Holdina" earned almost 13 million KM last year, which is 2.7 million more than the previous year.

With 1.4 billion KM in revenue, this company is among the largest companies in BiH by this parameter. Compared to 2023, they had a revenue increase of 30 million KM.

They employed 525 workers, one more than at the end of 2023.

Although it had a slight decrease in profit compared to 2023, "Nešković" was immediately behind "Holdina" in terms of profit.

This company earned 11.2 million marks last year, and 12.8 million KM the year before.

On the other hand, their revenue last year was 210.8 million KM, an increase of 6.4 million compared to the previous year when it was 204.4 million marks.

The company also increased its number of employees - from 646 to 695.

Next is "Hifa Petrol", owned by Hajrudin Ahmetlić, which had an increase in both revenue and profit last year, and they also increased their number of employees.

The revenue of this company last year was 804 million and increased by 67.7 million KM compared to 2023, while their profit increased by 2.6 million and amounted to 10 million KM at the end of 2024.

"Petrol BH Oil Company", owned by Slovenia's "Petrol", earned 8.9 million KM last year, about two million more than the previous year.

Their revenue increased by 25 million last year, from 337.3 to 362.6 million KM, and they employed 300 workers, two fewer than at the end of 2023.

Next is "Hifa Oil" from Tešanj, owned by Izudin Ahmetlić, which had a drastic drop in profit, although their revenue increased.

Thus, this company had a profit of 8.1 million KM last year, and 15 million the year before. The revenue of "Hifa Oil" last year was 813.4 million, and 761 million KM the year before.

"G Petrol" had a profit of 2.3 million KM, while it ended 2023 with a loss of 765,965 KM.

They employed 502 workers, and 487 in 2023. Their revenue last year was 712.8 million, and 645.5 million marks the year before.

"Nestro Petrol" slightly increased both revenue and profit last year compared to the previous year.

Thus, the profit of this gas station chain increased from 1.87 million to 1.93 million KM, while their revenue last year was 322.8 million, and 307.9 million in 2023. They increased the number of employees from 530 to 534.

Banja Luka's "Krajinapetrol", which is majority-owned by the RS, had a profit of about 570,000 KM last year, which is double that of the previous year.

Their revenue increased from 63.6 million to 69.4 million KM, and they employed 159 workers, four more than in 2023.
