How much will breakfast with Obama cost BiH citizens, one plane ticket alone is 8,000 KM

The BiH delegation will attend the prayer breakfast with US President Barack Obama in Washington on February 4.
For now, it has been confirmed that the Prime Minister of FBiH Fadil Novalić and the President of FBiH Marinko Čavara are traveling to the traditional breakfast with the first man of the USA, writes the Patria agency.

Breakfast with Obama will cost the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina tens of thousands of KM. For example, one round-trip ticket Sarajevo – Washington – Sarajevo costs around 4,000 euros. This is the price for a business class ticket. Hotel accommodation in Washington also costs several hundred euros per day. It should also be known that Novalić and Čavara will not travel alone; if they bring even one associate each, the cost will double.

The tradition of gathering at the Prayer Breakfast in the USA began in 1953, during the presidency of Dwight D. Eisenhower, who gathered a group of congressmen to help overcome divisions in American society at the time.
The National Prayer Breakfast is now a multi-day event that gathers more than 3,000 guests and consists of numerous meetings, lunches, and dinners, but the central event is the breakfast.

The US Congress proposes guests, and the State Department verifies and invites them.

This year, the Ambassador of BiH to the USA Haris Hrle and the recently appointed Consul General of BiH in Chicago Ivan Šušnjar have also been invited to the prayer breakfast, writes Patria.
