Collegium of the KS Assembly: Appointment of a new Independent Board announced

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Collegium of the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton decided today to expand the agenda of the 48th session of the KS Assembly, scheduled for Monday, 31 January 2022, with several items, including the Proposal for a Decision on the dismissal of the Independent Board of the KS Assembly along with the Proposal for a Decision on the appointment of a new Independent Board.

Along with the Proposal for the KS Budget for 2022, as the most significant items, this session will also discuss the Work Program and Financial Plan of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo for 2021, as well as amendments to the Statute of the Health Insurance Institute of KS.

The Collegium accepted the proposal of the Ministry of Health of KS that, due to the worsening epidemiological situation and the enormous increase in coronavirus infections, and in accordance with the valid order of the Federal Crisis Staff and the limited indoor gatherings of up to 30 people, this session be held ONLINE.

Today, an Emergency Session of the KS Assembly was scheduled for 1 February 2022 on the topic of the current situation regarding the adoption of amendments to the federal Law on the Allocation of Public Revenues, which would abolish the previously valid weight 2 in the distribution of these revenues for Sarajevo Canton, which will represent a serious financial blow to the KS Budget.
