Collegium supports SDA and SBB agreement, Izetbegović claims no talks with Čović about Mostar

The Collegium of the Party of Democratic Action was held at its headquarters to discuss the coalition with Fahrudin Radončić's SBB, reports a reporter from the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Recall, Izetbegović and Radončić met twice and discussed the SBB joining the coalition with SDA and HDZ BiH. Radončić stated that the SBB would support reform processes regardless of whether the SBB enters the coalition or not.

After the Collegium, Izetbegović said that potential new coalitions were discussed and added that the Alliance for Change is unquestionable, as is the bloc with SBiH and A-SDA.

- The Collegium approved what was discussed with Fahrudin Radončić and recommended accepting everything agreed upon with the SBB - said Izetbegović.

He stated that SBiH and A-SDA were not left aside, but that the relationship with the major coalition partners must first be resolved.

- They will participate to the extent of their capacity.

Responding to a question about the increasingly frequent announcements of SNSD entering the government, Izetbegović said he has not yet heard Milorad Dodik state anywhere that he is interested in joining the government, and that the SDA fully agrees with him because the Alliance for Change is an unquestionable partner of the SDA.

Furthermore, Izetbegović said he is not afraid of potential agreements between the SBB and HDZ and possible outvoting in the FBiH Government if the SBB receives all four ministerial positions.

- I believe the SBB wants the best and greatest result they will achieve together in working with the SDA – emphasized Izetbegović.

The SDA president also reacted to the Dnevni list article claiming that he and HDZ BiH president Dragan Čović agreed on the election method in this city based on the "One member, one vote" principle, calling it unserious.

- I really do not know what this text is based on. Mr. Čović and I have had no interaction regarding this because it was agreed that this problem would be resolved by parties at the local level. I truly consider this very unserious for a newspaper like Dnevni list – emphasized Izetbegović.
