A red warning has been issued for the Herzegovina region, specifically Mostar and Trebinje, due to extreme temperatures ranging between 38 and 41 degrees Celsius, reports the Patria agency.
In the rest of the country, an orange warning is in effect. Temperatures will reach up to 38 degrees. On Monday, dozens of collapse incidents were recorded in Sarajevo. Citizens are advised to avoid prolonged exposure outdoors and to stay well hydrated, reports the Patria agency.
High temperatures will persist in the coming days. If you are traveling, take frequent breaks, drink fluids, and avoid sudden exits from an air-conditioned car.
