Which parties did not have their candidacies verified for the elections: Serbian Radical Party and HSS on the list

The Central Election Commission of BiH today published the list of parties and independent political candidates whose candidacies have been verified for the General Elections in BiH, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Out of a total of 69 applications, the Central Election Commission of BiH verified 53 political parties for electoral districts and for government bodies because they meet the legally prescribed conditions. All 24 applications of independent candidates were verified because they meet the legally prescribed conditions for verification. Among them are Dr. Mustafa Cerić and Mirsad Kebo, who have run for the BiH Presidency.

The list of parties whose candidacies were not verified includes: Serbian Radical Party, Croatian Peasant Alliance, Posavina Party, Congress National Party for the Protection of Rights of Fighters, Justice and Morality.

The applications of the following political parties were also rejected: New Movement of BiH, Progressive Serbian Party, Democratic Party of Disabled Persons, Political Organization of Citizens "Strength of Bosnia", Homeland Social Democrats – Mile Marčeta, United People's Party, Ecological Party of RS, Croatian Alliance HKDU – HRAST, Strength of the People, Democratic Family Party, Social Democratic Front of BiH, Bosnian-Herzegovinian People's Party.

The application of the political party Udar Ljevice was also rejected because this political party was not registered with the competent court by the deadline for submitting the application for verification of participation in the elections, the CEC announced.

Irregularities mainly relate to an insufficient number of valid support signatures, lack of proof of payment of the fee, and other issues – the CEC announced.

The Central Election Commission of BiH will send notifications to political entities that were not verified today, informing them that, in accordance with the Election Law of BiH, they must rectify the application irregularities within two days of receiving the notification, Patria reports.
