What is the connection between January 9th and April 10th: Dodik and Čović firmly control the crisis in BiH

What are January 9th and April 10th, and what do they represent for the statehood of BiH and Croatia. It won't be what it seems at first glance. However, with certain historical inversions, significant similarities and connections could be found, but that's for another time. Much has already been said about January 9th, its strength and significance of its denial, and the amount of insults and decibels of its defense, and more will be heard in the celebratory toasts these days.

It is little known that the Assembly of the Serb People of RS in BiH, on April 10th of the same year as its founding in '92, adopted a Declaration on the unification of RS with the "Republic of Serbian Krajina", a para-state twin in the internationally recognized Republic of Croatia. The envisioned capital city of the newly forming state was Banja Luka.

Why this introduction? From what is known so far, and still publicly published, the Constitutional Court of BiH delivered its judicial decision on the constitutionality of the Law on Holidays of RS with the abstention of two judges from the Croatian people, judges Galić and Tadić.

For the past twenty days, as every year so far, the entire Serb nation has "traditionally and with reverence" marked the day of the "establishment of the Republic of Serbian Krajina, with a vow to continue doing so until the realization of the historical obligation to return all stolen Serb lands on the territory of the former SFRY".

It is not far-fetched to assume that the mentioned judges made their decisions guided by the political will of those who delegated them to these honorable positions. Perhaps in this case, the vowed Dodik-Čović partnership is being embodied.

A quick, but not sufficiently thought-out, political stance on this, from the capital city of the envisioned state of Banja Luka, slipped from the lips of "Chancellor Ljubić". Milorad Dodik does not hide that it is not just a sensitive reminiscence of January 9th, but a clear consolidation of RS statehood, and he does not hide that he is ready to undermine Bosnian-Herzegovinian statehood in defense of the envisioned statehood.

Precisely the abstention of the Croatian duo has created an opportunity for Dodik to revive not only his Bosnian-Herzegovinian destruction but also to awaken the Greater Serb dreams of the Krajina tragic figures from reserve. Those whose truth says that RS was paid for by the disappearance of the "Republic of Serbian Krajina" are not far off, and that BiH Croats are merely fulfilling long-standing obligations of the Milošević-Tuđman agreement.

One thing is certain, however: the state consolidation of RS would be a permanent and long-term threat to the integrity of the Republic of Croatia, and therefore it must be stated that the centers of these Serb-Croatian projects still live only in rigid right-wing pockets on both sides. How alive they are in BiH and how much they are controlled by the sins of the perpetrators can only be known by the federal archives of their secret communist police files, and indeed by the joystick politics of some international structures that have dealt and are dealing with grave sins of a criminal nature, from the end of the nineties of the last century to the present day in BiH.

Be that as it may, on January 9th in Banja Luka, the Slava (patron saint's day) of only a part of the envisioned new Serb state will be celebrated. In that celebration, certainly special guests will be those manipulatively intoxicated, "humanely replaced", tragic figures expelled by "Oluja" from the "Republic of Serbian Krajina".

As for the Law on the Constitutional Court of BiH, which is in procedure, its basis is not in the 3 votes of foreign judges, but in the unanimous decision of judges from the Serb and Croatian peoples. Whatever the case, the Dodik-Čović duo currently firmly controls and manages the crisis in BiH. This is not just a Bosnian story, the test is yet to come.
