82 people in RS confirmed positive for coronavirus, five people died

(Patria) - Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in Republika Srpska, in the last 24 hours, 609 laboratory samples have been tested, and the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) has been confirmed in 82 people in this BiH entity.

These are 34 males and 48 females, of whom 22 are younger, 47 middle-aged, and 13 elderly.

According to place of residence, 30 people are from Banja Luka, seven from Čelinac, five each from Doboj, Teslić, and Bijeljina, four each from Laktaši and Foča, three each from Bileća, Gradiška, and Pale, two each from Istočna Ilidža, Mrkonjić Grad, Prijedor, Ribnik, and Stanari, and one each from Brod, Kneževo, and Trebinje.

In the last 24 hours, five deaths have been reported to the Institute of Public Health of RS, in which the presence of the new coronavirus has been confirmed. These are two women and three men of middle and old age from Istočna Ilidža, Gradiška, Foča, Čelinac, and Kostajnica.

So far, 8,691 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 290 people have died who tested positive for the new coronavirus. A total of 5,603 people have recovered from the new coronavirus so far, and a total of 74,189 people have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized in Republika Srpska is 173, at the University Clinical Center RS 52, and in general hospitals 121.

A total of 3,365 people are currently under health supervision, and supervision has been completed for 55,801 people.
