Arsenal of weapons found with 62-year-old

On Wednesday, members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton, III Police Station, deprived Dž.S., born in 1953 in Foča, residing in Sarajevo, of his liberty due to grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons or explosives, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- During the search of the house he uses in the area of the Novi Grad Sarajevo municipality, the following weapons were found and confiscated: an automatic rifle, a hunting rifle, a hunting carbine, a small-caliber rifle, a "CZ" pistol cal. 7.62 mm, with a magazine, 26 rounds of ammunition for a hunting rifle, and 231 bullets of various calibers - the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton announced.

The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed, and Dž.S. was handed over to the Department for Detention of Detained Persons of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton. Police officers are continuing their work on clarifying and documenting the mentioned criminal offenses.
