Weapon, ammunition, and crossbow found with 57-year-old Sarajevo resident

Police officers of the First Police Administration yesterday afternoon arrested M.N., born in 1957 in Sarajevo, where he resides, on suspicion of committing criminal offenses under Article 371 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Illegal possession of weapons or explosives) and Article 52 of the Law on Unauthorized Possession of Weapons and Ammunition, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

- During the search of the house he uses in the Old Town Sarajevo municipality, the following were found and confiscated: one automatic rifle, two magazines for an automatic rifle, 2 pistols, one crossbow with 4 bolts, 350 rifle and pistol rounds of various calibers, a telescopic baton, one hand grenade, rifle and pistol cleaning kits, etc. - the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton announced.

After the criminal investigation is completed, M.N. will be handed over to the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo, along with a report on the committed criminal offenses.
