Pistol found without a permit on a 20-year-old

On Monday night to Tuesday in Kranjčevićeva street, Centar Sarajevo municipality, police officers of the 1st Police Department stopped and controlled a passenger motor vehicle of the make "VW Golf 5", license plates M93-T-037, driven by driver T.H., born in 1996 in Sarajevo.

During the inspection of the vehicle, a "Pietro Bereta" pistol, cal. 7.65 mm, with a magazine and four rounds of the same caliber, for which he does not have a permit from the competent authority, was found and confiscated from him.

Due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed a criminal offense under Article 52 of ZONDINOIM, T.H. was deprived of his liberty and handed over to the Department for Detention of Detained Persons of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton. Police officers are continuing their work on clarifying and documenting the mentioned criminal offense.
