Coalition "Država!": The fundamental problem is not being solved in Neum

(Patria) - Today, the first public forum of the "Država!" Coalition was held in the City Council hall in Zenica. The topic of the forum was: "Where is Bosnia and Herzegovina heading?" In conversation with citizens, a message was sent about the importance of joint action by healthy forces at this crucial moment for the country, as well as putting the general interest above the personal one.

Mirsad Hadžikadić, president of the Platform for Progress and the coalition's candidate for a member of the BiH Presidency, said that Bosnia and Herzegovina must be a state of law and responsibility.

"No revolution has happened with a pragmatic approach; the foundation must be values, dignity, justice, and honesty. For real change to occur, there must be fundamental changes to the Election Law, and that means electronic elections. He called on all healthy forces to join and contribute to the change of the country. The "Država!" Coalition is a space and an opportunity for joint action," he said.

Senad Šepić, president of the Independent Bloc, emphasized that at this moment, those who want change are not united.

"The "Država!" Coalition is the answer to that. It is a space for all who want to contribute to Bosnia and Herzegovina moving in a different direction with a different approach. It is broad, accessible, and open enough for everyone in the coalition to feel comfortable. "Država!" is a coalition of values. Bosnia and Herzegovina needs a break from past policies; it needs new energy, new ideas, and a new approach. He added that the coalition refused to go to Neum because the fundamental problems, namely fair and honest elections, are not being solved there. The policy of the "Država!" Coalition is a policy of balanced development and equal opportunities throughout the country," said Šepić.

Ninoslav Sušilović, president of the Posavina Party, spoke about the causes of the situation in the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"The paradigm of national divisions has been functioning for decades, and it is a brake on development. That ideology is no longer led by nationalists, but by leaders of three national parties who have no ideology and believe only in power and money. Such politicians do not need fair elections. If it is up to them, they will never agree," said Sušilović.

Adis Arapović, representative of the RED Movement and a deputy in the FBiH Parliament, said that the greatest value of this coalition is the diversity of its coalition partners, and at the same time, their ability to work together.

"The "Država!" Coalition is proof that when the goal is placed before interests and vision before ego, such a project can be created before the elections. Personal and party interests have degraded the institutions of the state and shifted their power to parties and leaders. All of this is hidden behind nationalist and warmongering rhetoric. He asked the citizens present to spread the idea of unity and cooperation and to be aware that the country will not improve on its own, nor will society become fairer. It is time for progressive forces, who bring new ideas and a new approach to politics in Bosnia and Herzegovina, to create space for action that will lead the country towards a better future and prosperity," Arapović conveyed.
