Coalition State: BiH does not need mediators or false friends

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In recent days, the media have reported an intention for the presidents of foreign states, namely Milanović, Vučić and Erdogan, to meet in order to "resolve problems" of our country, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The coalition “State!” poses a question to them, as well as to domestic political actors who, through their silence, approve of this obvious protectionism: “By what right do presidents of foreign states impose themselves as mediators? Who authorized them to do so? Whose interest do such senseless ideas serve?".

Bosnia and Herzegovina is an internationally recognized and sovereign state that will, on its own, through agreement of all parts of its society, find solutions to its problems, for those who create those problems, and define the path towards a secure and prosperous future.

Regardless of the obvious political and territorial aspirations of neighbors, as well as other international factors, throwing a lifeline to the completely isolated and unsustainable regime of Milorad Dodik, through various negotiations, is neither a friendly nor a useful initiative for our country. Such "friendly" efforts should be thanked and told: "enough is enough!"

The exclusive responsibility lies with our institutions, judicial, legislative and executive, with our politicians who, through decades of neglect of the role and institutions of the state, and exploitation of their positions to achieve their own interests, have knowingly created a situation where foreign politicians decide our fate.

Not in our interest, but in the interest of their own policies, their vassals in our country, and their positioning in international relations.

The coalition “State!” therefore calls on the ruling and opposition forces to finally end subservience and take responsibility in the interest of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens.
