WHO'S MEETING THERE? Under the patronage of HDZ, Croatian interior ministers met and problematised Bosniaks?

(Patria) - Last week, a meeting of cantonal interior ministers was held, to which only interior ministers from the Croatian people were invited, Patria learns.

Who organised the meeting, who sent the invitations to the ministers, and whose idea it was to start the practice of meeting interior ministers from only one people, i.e., from among Croats, is unknown.

There are no Croatian, Bosniak, or Serbian interior ministries. There are only interior ministries that are obliged to adapt their policies and procedures to all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The grouping of police ministers from only one people is a very dangerous precedent, given that these are leaders who manage ministries that include police administrations, i.e., armed force.

Never before, our sources claim, has it happened that meetings of police ministers from only one people are organised, because such meetings do not imply that they will result in establishing policies in the interest of all citizens, but only and exclusively of one people.

The public reacted quite mildly, without criticism, to this dangerous precedent that ministers from the Croatian ranks are trying to pass off as normal.

If, by any chance, the Federal Minister of Interior Ramo Isak had called a meeting and invited only ministers from the Bosniak ranks, it would have met with fierce condemnation. Foreign embassies, HNS, HDZ BiH, SNSD would have spoken out. But when HDZ leaders do it, it is completely normal.

At the meeting, the fact that the head of the FUP is Vahidin Munjić, a member of the Bosniak people, and that the head of the FMUP is Ramo Isak, who also declares himself a Bosniak, was particularly criticised.

Two Bosniaks in the FMUP are problematic for Croats. This, for heaven's sake, is perceived as a severe blow to Croats. However, we must ask the question: what ethnicity are the minister and police commissioner of HNK? Croat and Croat. Minister and police commissioner of K10? Croat and Croat. Minister and police commissioner of ZHK? Croat and Croat.

So, two Croats in the MUP are not problematic, but two Bosniaks in the FUP are? Why? Are two Croats more valuable than two Bosniaks? How has Vahidin Munjić shown that he is not a professional? Should he be challenged just because he is a Bosniak?

Let's continue, what marginalisation of Croats in the FUP are they talking about? What right do ministers from the "Croatian cantons" have to talk about any marginalisation when the question of the representation of Bosniaks in the police administrations that are part of the MUPs they manage is raised?

Let them count the police officers, civil servants, and employees, and let them come out publicly with data on how many Bosniaks there are in total, and especially how many of them are in leadership positions.

Since the minister of the MUP of HNK was at the meeting, is he asking what the deputy police commissioner of the MUP of HNK, who is a Bosniak, thinks? Did they ask him for his opinion on the fact that Bosniaks are at the head of the FMUP and FUP? Does he find that problematic? Of course not. But no one asked him, and even if they had, they would have multiplied his opinion by zero.
