Who all advises Novalić: Premier surrounded by people from the defence industry

Fadil Novalić, Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH recently told reporters that he is „not politically skilled“, which his competitors commented as a truthful admission, while others, however, characterised such a statement as utterly meaningless and unacceptable for a prime minister, writes the Patria news agency.

Performing the function of prime minister so far, Novalić, although he claims to be politically unskilled, very skilfully makes moves demanded by HDZ BiH, as well as SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović. Amid increasingly loud talk about reforms, dissatisfaction among workers and the working class is also growing, so protests and strikes in front of the FBiH Government building are common every day.

Novalić also has advisors by his side who are well paid by budget beneficiaries, and for these positions the prime minister appointed people he knew from before.

Samir Iskrić serves as head of the Office of the Prime Minister of FBiH, and previously managed finances at FK Zvijezda during the time Novalić was president of this club, and also led the financial service at the company Cimos TMD and served on the Supervisory Board of Pretis.

It is precisely through him and Suvad Osmanagić, also an advisor to the prime minister, who until April this year served as director of Unis-Group d.o.o., that Novalić takes control of the defence industry.

That Osmanagić and Iskrić are not the only ones from the prime minister's favourite economic sector was ensured by Novalić himself by bringing in Amra Džendušić as an advisor, who was a legal expert at Unis Group during the time Suvad Osmanagić was director of this company.

Džendušić, our sources from the FBiH Government claim, is not resourceful, and she showed this on her first test, when as an authorised representative of the FBiH Government she was supposed to participate in the Assembly of Feroelektro. The Stanić family, who looted Feroelektro, flexed their muscles and did not allow the representative of the FBiH Government to attend the Assembly under the pretext that she was late to register, and then they cancelled the Assembly due to lack of quorum.

But what pained the disenfranchised workers most was the fact that Džendušić left the place where the Assembly was supposed to be held, allegedly in the company of the Stanić family.

- Novalić is also advised by Goran Miraščić, who was an advisor to Desnica Radivojević in the previous term. Before that, an advisor to Spomenka Mičić when she was Vice President of FBiH. Otherwise, a professor with Ejup Ganić at the Faculty and a member of the Advisory Group of the Fiscal Council of BiH – our source points out.

Denijal Pelidija also advises Novalić. Novalić rewarded him by appointing him to the working group for finding a model to mitigate and prevent the grey economy in the area of labour relations and unregistered business entities.
