Who are the winners of the April 6 Award in 2015

Members of the Committee for the Awarding of the April 6 Award of the City of Sarajevo in 2015 voted by secret ballot on this year's winners, reports the Patria news agency.

Safet Zec, the Association of Parents of Killed Children of Besieged Sarajevo, and Jim Marshall and Tim Clancy, according to unconfirmed information, are the winners of the individual, collective and group awards.

At the ceremonial session of the City Council of the City of Sarajevo, which will be held on April 6, the laureates will be presented with the awards, and a fund of 7,000 KM each has been determined. The awards will be presented by the Mayor of Sarajevo, Prof. Dr. Ivo Komšić.

The April 6 Award of Sarajevo was established in 1956, and this year it will be awarded for the 55th time. The award was not given from 1993 to 1998 during and after the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
