Who is cutting the salaries of education workers in Sarajevo Canton?

(Patria) - While education workers in Sarajevo Canton are struggling tooth and nail to establish an education system through the online system and making maximum efforts so that students are not left to their own devices, showing their commitment and determination to make a great contribution to overcoming the crisis that has hit almost the entire world, including our country, the federal prime minister announces a 10% salary cut, the cantonal minister of finance announces the Law on Savings according to which the Government of Sarajevo Canton will regulate salaries, i.e., reduce them, and at the end of today's story, the Party of Democratic Action demands from all institutions that during the declared state of emergency caused by the coronavirus pandemic, salaries in the public sector that exceed the average personal income be significantly limited.

All of the above only points to the following questions:

- is the government in Sarajevo Canton and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina cutting the salaries of education workers?

- if the answer to the previous question is positive, in what way will they do it and how much will education workers be affected?

- and finally, is the government in Sarajevo Canton and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina aware of the consequences of such actions and the reaction of education workers?

From the budget in this country, at all levels, the following are financed:

- political parties,

- various projects,

- various associations,

- various commissions,

- various administrative and other boards,

- various agencies,

- various grants

- and other items that are currently unnecessary or less necessary compared to the salaries of education workers.

Savings and cuts in education will lead this country to ruin.
