SDP BiH Cantonal Committee elected: Enis Hasanović will be the new Minister of Health of KS

(Patria) - The Cantonal Committee of SDP BiH at tonight's session made a decision that Enis Hasanović will be the candidate for the Minister of Health of Sarajevo Canton.

Hasanović is a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, and currently serves as the director of the Institute for the Protection of Women's Health and Maternity of Sarajevo Canton. His term would expire next year.

There were several candidates in the running, and Hasanović had the support of the party leadership.

After SDP also finalized the selection of candidates, the way was opened for the official candidacy of the names of ministers in the new Government of Sarajevo Canton, which will be headed by Nihad Uk.

The KS Assembly accepted Uk's resignation on October 25 and dismissed the KS Government, and the deadlines for proposing the prime minister-designate and the list of candidates for ministers began to run.
