SDA Sarajevo Canton: Prof. Dr. Sebija Izetbegović was illegally dismissed from her position

(Patria) - SDA Sarajevo Canton welcomes the Cantonal Court's Decision, which determined that the Supervisory Board of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo was appointed illegally, from which it follows that the decisions made by that body are also illegal.

"Prof. Dr. Sebija Izetbegović was illegally dismissed from the position of Director of KCUS, and the law and the Statute of the largest healthcare institution in the country were grossly violated by the Government of the Federation of BiH and its Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić.

The obsessive need of the imposed regime to eliminate its political opponents by force and lawlessness leads to general chaos and legal uncertainty. The healthcare sector and the reputation of the largest healthcare institution in the country had to remain beyond the reach of politics based on pettiness, but the government established through foreign interference clearly lacks that ability.

The organized persecution of Prof. Dr. Sebija Izetbegović did not remain within the bounds of public lynching or a public spectacle. It was carried out systematically, through intentional and conscious violation of laws and procedures, by those who pledged to enforce the law and respect procedures. The time when they will be held accountable for their actions is not far off", stated the SDA Sarajevo Canton.
