SDA Sarajevo Canton proposed Izetbegović for the Presidency

The Cantonal Committee of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Sarajevo, headed by Denis Zvizdić, at its session held on July 1st, determined its proposals for the upcoming October elections, writes the Patria News Agency.

As evident from the final decisions of the SDA Sarajevo Cantonal Committee, Bakir Izetbegović, the Deputy President of SDA, is their proposal for a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Personnel Commission of the Cantonal Committee of SDA has also offered its proposals for the State and Federal Parliaments, as well as cantonal assemblies.

The Patria News Agency has obtained the proposals of the SDA Sarajevo Cantonal Committee, and we are publishing the proposals for the State Parliament, specifically the House of Representatives of the PSBiH.

Zvizdić and others from the SDA Sarajevo Cantonal Committee proposed Asim Sarajlić, currently the head of the SDA Caucus in the House of Representatives of the PSBiH, as the holder of the list for the State Parliament.

Second on the list is Semiha Borovac, former mayor of Sarajevo, and the mayor of the Novo Sarajevo Municipality, Nedžad Koldžo, who is also a member of the SDA Presidency, has also found his place among the proposals.

Izetbegović is the first choice of Zvizdić and others from the SDA Cantonal Committee

The list that will be presented to the SDA Presidency on Sunday also includes Rifat Škilj, dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Sarajevo, Mirsad Sipović, and Mujo Fišo.

Given that they had to comply with the Election Law and include a specific number of women on the lists, the Cantonal Committee of SDA could not recall their names, so the facsimile obtained by NAP states that these will be unnamed women for now, but it was determined that one will be from the SDA Presidency and the other from Goražde.
