He Who Understands First Suffers Less

Although announced merely as a working meeting between two parliamentary parties, HDZ and SNSD, the agenda, the almost state-bilateral protocol, and the political messages sent revealed the true motives and intentions of the meeting participants in Mostar.

Dodik's sentence: "It is time we finally open the discussion about what BiH is?" spoken from the media off-camera, is precisely what the duo Čović-Dodik has been doing for almost a whole series of years with coordinated constitutional destruction of BiH.

The meager results of previous attempts, and the quite certain upcoming change in the context of further possibilities for attempts, given the expected November verdicts of the Hague tribunal in the cases of Tuđman, Šušak, Prlić and others, as well as the cases of Mladić, Stanišić and others, certainly makes them more robust, less controlled, and more exposed.

Insisting on accepting the coordination mechanism according to Dodik-Čović's measure would mean introducing administrative arrangements (entities and cantons) into a capacity by which the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina would be interpreted and constitutionally recognized as a confederalized construct.

This is precisely what deprives Bosnia of its already weak state sovereignty, thus "voluntarily" transferring it to lower administrative structures (entities and cantons). With such political cunning, the UZP-territorialized peoples are completing their trajectory started in '92. of the last century. The effects of war crimes against humanity and the civilian population, Joint Criminal Enterprises, and the so far proven Srebrenica genocide and possible others, are thus receiving their constitutional satisfaction.

As the November readings of the Hague verdicts approach, this duo, in their intention and helplessness, will be ready to sacrifice general security disturbances by raising tensions in BiH, so they should be "kept an eye on" and thwarted in their presumed manipulation of their own peoples. The assumption of their success calculates with the fragile intra-Bosnian institutional mechanism of action, but it must also consider much stronger international mechanisms that are ready to stop and sanction it. Confirmation of this should also be sought in Chancellor Merkel's initiative, which ends the dilemma of national or civic in BiH with the triumph of the latter.
