Who Sings, (Doesn't) Think Evil: Dodik and Grabar-Kitarović the Biggest Singing Politicians in 2018!

The year behind us will also be remembered for the musical performances of BiH and regional politicians. However, this is not surprising, considering that politics in the Western Balkans is perceived as a kind of show and entertainment, in which the authorities enjoy and the broad masses applaud.

Milorad Dodik, Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, sang almost all year. In January 2018, he cried to the song "Pukni zoro". Dodik also sang during the election campaign, and after he declared victory and announced to the world that he was the new member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an institution and a state he does not recognize, Milorad Dodik went to celebrate in a restaurant in Banja Luka. There, with the supporters of his party, he celebrated and sang until late at night.
 

Thanks to a video published on YouTube by Alternativna televizija, we saw what it looks like when Dodik sings Louis's song "Slike u oku."

When it comes to the region, the most melody came from Croatia.

After Ivica Dačić, the Serbian head of diplomacy, showed his singing skills by singing to Turkish President Erdogan in 2017, Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarović "shone" in 2018.

Unlike Dačić, Grabar-Kitarović did not surprise with her repertoire. Given her rhetoric, singing Thompson's hit that glorifies Herceg Bosna suited her perfectly.
 

During her visit to the USA in September 2018, Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarović attended the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Croatian National Federation of America. And she sang Thompson's hit "Lijepa li si."
The Croatian president went on stage, took the microphone, and sang Thompson's song 'Lijepa li si', but she had trouble with the lyrics and used a 'cheat sheet', meaning she read the lyrics from her phone.
