Who All Served in the Presidency of BiH After the End of the War

Since the end of the war, General Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina have been held seven times, in which citizens elected representatives to the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH and the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, deputies to the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, the president and vice-presidents of RS, and representatives to ten cantonal assemblies in the Federation of BiH, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

Since then until today, citizens have elected members of the Presidency of BiH six times.

The first post-war General Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina were held in 1996. A total of 2,487,997 voters, or 79.40% of the total registered, turned out to vote.

For the Bosniak member of the Presidency in the first post-war elections, Alija Izetbegović was elected with 730,592 votes. The Croats in the Presidency of BiH were represented by Krešimir Zubak, who received the trust of 330,447 voters. Momčilo Krajišnik, as the Serbian member, entered the Presidency with 690,646 votes.
